About BDDS
Bellary Diocese Development Society (BDDS) established in 1985, is the official organization of the Diocese of Bellary for promoting Social development in three civil districts of Bellary, Raichur and Koppal in the Karnataka region under the patronage of the diocesan Bishop. BDDS has taken long strides in the empowerment and integral development of the marginalized and underprivileged people, particularly the Dalits, women and children.
BDDS is a registered society under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1961. It is registerd u/s 12A & 80G of Income Tax Act. Besides it is also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under the Foreign Contributions Regulations Act (FCRA).
Vision : To usher in a Social order of Justice, Peace and Love.
Mission : To promote human dignity to the marginalized, especially the Dalits, women and children through a process of empowerment and Rights based approach.

and reduction of domestic violence related to alcohol consumption.
